MOROCCAN BEAUTY SECRETS & MORE
-
A Moroccan hamam is a spa experience that involves a traditional steam bath, exfoliating body scrub, and soothing massage.
Hamams have been a traditional part of Moroccan culture for centuries, dating back to Roman times.
You will find a hamam in every corner of Morocco. They are extremely popular amongst the locals.
-
The time spent in a hamam can vary. It all depends on how frequently you visit. You can always create your own Moroccan hamam at home by following these simple steps.
Start in a steam room (steam your bathroom) and sit for roughly 15 minutes
Apply Moroccan black soap to your whole body
Rinse the black soap off and scrub with a traditional keesa glove (PRO TIP: Scrub in a circular motion until you see the dirt rolling out)
Rinse your body with soap and wash your hair
Massage Argan oil to face, body & hair.

Rhassoul can be used for your face, body and hair.
PRO TIP: You can purchase your Rhassoul in powder form, or blend it at home for a more effective hair mask.
Here are a few steps on how to use Rhassoul:
Slowly add warm water to your Rhassoul, and allow it to absorb the water before you mix.
Your Rhassoul should be thick and wet for easy application
Once you’re happy with the consistency, apply it to your face (5-10 minutes), body (up to 10 minutes) or hair (up to 2 hours).
Rinse out and massage Argan oil into hair or skin.
