The oil is derived from the kernels of the Argan tree, it has been used for centuries by Moroccan people for cosmetic & culinary use. It is made through a traditional cold-pressing process that retains the oil's natural properties.

Argan oil is native to south western Morocco, Africa. The oil is sourced from fair trade, women owned cooperatives that support and sustain the lives of the local Amazigh women.

Argan oil is a golden-yellow coloured oil with a light nutty, earthy scent. The oil is lightweight and has a silky, non-greasy texture that absorbs quickly into the skin or hair offering nourishing and moisturising results.

Argan oil is composed of a number of different fatty acids, including oleic acid, linoleic acid as well as tocopherols (vitamin E).
